How about something more timely--like a good kids-today-sure-do-play-that-bug-music-too-loud gag or maybe even a what-ever-happened-to-movie-stars-like-Tom-Mix gag.
When I first looked at your post, I was thinking, "Oh, he's late updating." Then I looked closer and saw that this was not the case: the two SPP were just that similar.
